1. Mar Lodge Estate, owned by the National Trust for Scotland allows you to experience your surroundings at your own pace.  The Estate is abundant in wildlife and the landscapes are some of the most remote and scenic in Scotland; perfect for gentle walks and picnics.
2. Drum Castle is situated on the gates of Royal Deeside on a ridge overlooking the River Dee.  Drum Castle Combines a medieval keep, a Jacobean Mansion and a later Victorian extension.  There is a beautiful medieval chapel within the grounds and there are lovely country walks through the historic Old Wood of Drum.
3. The Spey Side Way is very close to main roads and small villages, making it perfect for going on short strolls.
4. The Findhorn Fountain, founded in 1962, has a strong emphasis on discovery and enlightenment.  Findhorn Fountain has a range of astroshamanic healing and organic gardening, which attracts over 8,000 visitors each year.
5. The Clunie Wishing Well is a sweet addition to the town of Braemar.  Money collected from the wishing well counts towards the upkeep of the two memorials:  The Celtic Cross and the memorial to the RAF Crew.  
6. The Mews, home of the tourist centre, is a useful and enjoyable place to visit.  There is plenty of open seating to sit and relax if the weather is nice.  There are also a good selection of gift shops and exhibitions to keep you entertained if you are looking for a peaceful day.
7. Balmoral Castle, set amongst beautiful scenery in Royal Deeside, is a must see for visitors to the area.  The Royal connections and stunning grounds prove to be extremely popular with holiday makers.  There is plenty to do within Balmoral Castle, whether you wish to attend an exhibition, relax in the coffee shop or explore the grounds, your visit will be worthwhile.
8. Why not pay a visit to the Royal Lochnagar Distillery and partake of their guided tour (cost £5/hd) which includes a 'wee dram' to round off your visit.
9. For those looking for a little 'Retail Therapy' why not take a trip to House of Bruar, Scotland's most prestigious, independant store. Situated by Blair Atholl, Perthshire.
10. Braemar Highland Safari allows the visitor to experience the ‘real Scotland.’  With the Highland Safari, the visitors too can venture into the heart of the mountains to enjoy the picturesque landscapes, lochs, wildlife and the plants which make the location so interesting and popular.
