Balmoral Castle
Balmoral Castle is a must see for all visitors to Braemar. The Royal associations stretch back to over 150 years, purchased by Queen Victoria in 1848. Careful stewardship of the owners have ensured the wildlife, scenery and architecture have been preserved for future generations to enjoy.

Braemar Gathering
The Braemar Gathering, also attended by H.M. The Queen, has been running for over 900 years. Since the days of King Malcom Canmore. The Gatherings as we know it today, has been organised since 1832. the Gathering features bagpipes, bands, dancers and athletic events. It is true to say that the Braemar Gathering is an event not to be missed.
